What makes this more difficult is that there is no single standardized test for “allergens,” which means that the quality of a product depends on the ingredients.
That makes it impossible to know which natural food products are safe, let alone which ones are not.
But it’s easy to look for clues in the ingredients, and there are a number of different ways to look.

How to Identify a Food as Allergenic Natural foods can be tested for allergal or sensitizing ingredients.
For example, many natural foods contain sugar or starches that can be allergic to some degree.
These ingredients are usually listed as “allergic,” or “susceptible to allergas,” or in some cases, as “sporadic.”
